Volunteer Opportunities

At ECO Singapore, all volunteers will have to go through an induction program managed by our Volunteer Management and Development department. The induction program is held every third Saturday of the month from 1-3pm. Interested individuals are encouraged to join us as a volunteer to secure a seat.

As a volunteer-based organisation, we hold the 3R principles strongly: "Responsible, Responsive and Reliable". Volunteers should be keen to learn and contribute actively. They should also have strong passion for the environment. Most importantly, all volunteers must understand and align themselves to the organisation's vision and mission.

National Youth Environment Forum

The aim of the National Youth Environment Forum, or NYEF, is to increase awareness among youths on local and international environmental issues and to inspire them to lead more environmentally sustainable lifestyles. Key topics to be addressed will be as follows:

  1. Energy and Climate Change
  2. Biodiversity and Nature Conservation
  3. Sanitation and Water
  4. Pollution and Ecosystem Management
  5. Poverty and Population

The interactive nature of the forum also intends to allow youths to challenge and frame environmental issues and policies in Singapore.

Campaigns

ECO Singapore runs campaigns to educate youths, and the public in general, about living an environmentally friendly lifestyle. These campaigns are held on a regular basis and run every year. ECO Singapore strongly believes that though these educational efforts, it can transform people's lifestyles into one that is in harmony with the environment — without requiring huge sacrifices on their part.

Here are some campaigns that ECO Singapore runs:

ECO Singapore is always on the look-out for partnership opportunities with other youth or environmental groups. If you would like to partner with us on a campaign or project, please provide us with your partnership propsal.
