The CDL E-Generation Challenge – an exciting eco-themed “Amazing Race” style national competition targeted at the youths – will be held once again in 2013 for the fourth consecutive year! The primary objective of this competition is to raise the level of eco-consciousness amongst the youth, utilising an eco-tainment platform as participants learn more about environment-related issues while engaged in a fun series of challenges around Singapore.
In celebration of CDL’s 50th Anniversary, this year’s Challenge will be the biggest ever! The competition will be held on Saturday, 13 April 2013 and will be open to youths between 17 and 25 years of age. The competition is also supported by Building and Construction Authority, National Environment Agency as well as NEA’s Youth for the Environment Day and National Parks Board with event partners City Square Mall, ECO Singapore and Star Horizon Learning.
In addition to attractive team prizes, participants representing their schools / institutions will also contribute towards their school / institution’s chance to win the Institution Challenge, for which a $1,000 cash donation will be made to their school / institution.
The competition flag-off and finish point is at CDL’s City Square Mall (CSM), Singapore’s first eco-mall.
All participants will receive a goodie bag and for finishers, a Lucky Draw with exciting prizes awaits.
