NYEF 2007 Essay Contest
The NYEF 2007 Essay Contest offered youths of aged 15 to 30 years old in Singapore to sumbit essays that expressed their views and concerns about Singapore and the environment. These essays formed the basis for the theme and helped refine the scope of discussion for the upcoming NYEF 2008.

- In your opinion, what is the most critical environmental issue we face in Singapore today?
- How does the Singaporean attitude affect the environment?
- "Singapore is responding adequately to its current environmental challenges." How far do you agree with this statement?
- Can Singapore's environment be sustainable despite rapid population growth?
- In your opinion, what will be the most challenging environmental problem for Singapore by the year 2012?
