And after the long wait...

We waited and waited. I wanted to drop them an email to check with them for the results. After submission of the proposal, one of their staff still called us a couple of time to clarify a few facts. Then there was silence. I was so tempted to bug them but I thought, let's wait till over the weekend.And on Tuesday morning, we received the email....

- Confirmation from the management to sponsor S$100k for the Eco House
in view of the S$96k require for the structural setup
- Will be preparing for a simple presentation of the cheque to ECO (will you be representing) during our 30th Anniversary Dinner .

What can I say? SUCCESS!!!!!!
We have the seed money to build the ECO House. There is so much potential! Imagine the number of youth we can train as trainers and getting them to educate the younger students! The outreach is unlimited. We can also use the ground to run programs and educate the public/adults!
Moving on, we now need funds to support the software development and also a full time staff to manage the ECO House and all it's program.
It is a good start and we are all blown away~
Calling a meeting with the team on coming Saturday to see how we can move on with our time line.
Will update again.
