And yes.....it has been a long while since a blog was done here. But the work for the eco house didn't stop there.We face several problems and the biggest one was FINANCES! But we went on to plan for the eco house and then it was up to ME to try to bring money into the ECO house.
However, one fine day, the Singapore Science Centre (SSC) Called and we have a prospect here! We will be building our ECO House at the Singapore Science Centre. Now just waiting for final confirmation.
However...we did a little site survey just past sunday....on the 13th May.
Managed to rope in a couple of other partners and the recent great news is that a JAPANESE company has come in to be willing to FULLY sponsor the ECO house to make it functional and also compliment the works of the SSC! Which means our ECO house can also function as a training centre and where possible a lab or something.
Oh yeah..which part of SSC? Here it is!!!!
We are in the works of working details out and even BCA is happy to hear of our progress. We managed to get the blessing of the Director of School of Architecture in NUS for his advice and also a company called ARUP Pte Ltd (the one who build Beijing's Stadium for the Olympics 2008. Also build the new Singapore National Library at Brash Basah).
All seems good and where possible, we hope to be able to have the MOU signed on 22nd June for the Jap company's 30th anniversary commitment!

p.s: The team recently went down to SSC ECO Garden and realize we can actually convert an existing shed into an ECO House of the SSC has no use for it. Here is the picture:
