Every week is exciting in this project!Chia Chia revived the topic of using recycled material for the super structure. That's important for us, costs aside, the usage of recycled material is in line with what we want to spread, but coming up with a good piece of suitable junk is a hard one.. We'll see about it this saturday.
Eugenie got new volunteers, 12 to be exact! Everyone knows that there's no show without people.. Eventually, we hope everyone will know about the ecohouse and practis conservation and sustainable living!
Pauline, Ray and Wilson met up with Shooperman from Singapore Peak Oil Group (SPOG). Their website is http://singaporepeakoil.wordpress.com. My personal comment is big idea, but very hands-on approach, therefore have very similar objectives as us. Hope we will be able to work together for the ecohouse!

Shared the idea of ECO house with some friends and colleagues.
Most of them are supportive and promised to volunteer their expertise, network, time or resources if needed.
Volunteering --> widely thought of as helping the aged and the disadvantaged...
Living the ECO way is very new to them (me too).
Food for thought for some ; start to ponder over the possibility that we all are the "soon-to-be disadvantaged" ...
A strong direction of EcoHouse's vision should be to benefit the masses...
